Jason Custodia, DO
Jason Custodia, DO, is a psychiatrist offering services to adult residents in California. He has a vast array of clinical interests; however, his specializations are post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorders and anxiety. In his practice, Dr. Custodia believes that a person’s mental well-being is born out of an interconnected web of mind, body, spirit and environment. All these areas must be addressed for mental well-being to occur.
As a young resident, Dr. Custodia was always fascinated by people’s stories. His career path first took him to internal medicine, but he eventually went back into residency to change his specialty to psychiatry. He became interested in PTSD during his time in the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Custodia was a Navy physician for over six years and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 as the Executive Officer of 1st Medical Battalion based out of Camp Pendleton, CA. He has lived all over the U.S., including stops in Missouri, Michigan and Arizona.
