Diana Meier, LCSW
Diana Meier is a licensed clinical social worker who offers services to residents of California ages 18 to 50. Diana specializes in working with individuals of who struggle with addictions, anxiety and depression, stress management, women’s issues and health, relationships, bipolar disorder and LGBT issues. In her work Diana believes in meeting her clients where they are at, without judgement and using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and alternative options to 12-step recovery in her treatment. Her philosophy is to lead the process while she guides, encourages and supports her clients to meet their goals and move closer to where they want to be.
Diana’s interest in behavioral health care stems from her own history of overcoming challenges that began in her youth. As a person who has always had a keen, in-depth understanding of relations, she pursued training at California State University where she obtained her Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families. She the continued her education at San Diego State University to get her Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology.
On a more personal note, Diana is a passionate surfer and snowboarder and has been doing both activities in southern California for over 20 years! She is a vegetarian of 25 years and as an avid animal lover has been doing animal rescue and adoptions for over a decade. She tries to always be mindful and compassionate and live with integrity.
