Carol Fletcher, LCSW
Carol Fletcher is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to children, adolescents and adults in Virginia and Pennsylvania. She has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in trauma, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and family therapy. In her practice, her philosophy of care is person-centered; she believes that her clients hold a history that is essential to treatment.
Carol’s interest in mental and behavioral healthcare was established in elementary school and later became her focus in high school. She sees mental and behavioral healthcare as a wide field that incorporates education and medicine which are two areas she is passionate about.
When Carol was 10 years old, visiting the Buckingham Palace, she made one of the Queen's Guards, who are not allowed to laugh or smile, gently laugh. Carol acquired the nickname “pioneer woman” while spending five years running a hay farm and raising dogs in upstate Pennsylvania. She also grew up on Broadway plays.
