Alanna Higgins, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to child, adolescent and adult residents in Pennsylvania. She has a vast array of clinical interests; however, her specializations are anxiety, dialectical behavioral therapy, and child and adolescent therapy. She helps individuals overcome immediate challenges and builds on their accomplishments to motivate patients to make long-term changes in their mental health and overall wellness.
Alanna’s interest in mental and behavioral healthcare developed through her work with Children and Youth Services in Berks County, specifically when helping individuals and families regain control of their mental health. This experience led her to pursue her Master of Social Work and ultimately get into community mental health where she gained further experience working with a wide variety of children, adolescents, and adults. Currently, she uses these skills to help those in her community.
Alanna enjoys hiking and camping with her spouse and two English Springer Spaniels. She loves reading and is an avid gardener, growing many foods that sustain her family throughout the year.
