Margarita’s interest in mental health care stems from her experiences working with individuals and families from disadvantage communities. She learned very early in her career that she had a passion for helping people.

Lori Thompson, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor offering services to adolescent and adult residents in New York and New Jersey. She has a wide range of clinical interests; however, her specializations are anxiety disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, relationship counseling, stress management, trauma and abuse. Lori’s philosophy of care is that therapy is an opportunity to explore – she helps patients walk through rough patches, point out things in their journey that they may not have noticed and give them tools to move forward on their own. Lori’s career in mental health care has been a life-long calling. She finds it gratifying to see people find their own strength and grow.
Lori plays the piano and violin, and studied martial arts for 15 years.
Michele Medwin, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor offering services to adolescent and adult residents in New York. She has a wide range of clinical interests; however, her specializations are marriage and relationship counseling, grief counseling, LGBT issues, gender identity and dysphoria, stress management and anger management. Michele’s philosophy of care is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, caring space for clients to share what is on their mind. She believes that at times the challenges of life catch up with us and that having a comfortable place to discuss various life stresses may be enough; however, for others, a more comprehensive mental health counseling program is helpful. Michele also practices holistic and integrative therapy by using various counseling tools and techniques to best help clients.
Michele’s interest in mental health care stems from having been a Congregational Rabbi for over 23 years. She realized that she wanted to expand her ability to help those in need in all walks of life. Michele believes that her purpose in life is to help ease the burdens of others.
Michele lived in Israel for a year with her husband and children studying to become a rabbi. Her hobbies are varied and include birding, hiking in nature, boating, quilting, spending time with family and her two cockapoos.

Holli Stayton, FNP-C, NPP-C is a certified nurse practitioner of psychiatry who works with child and adult residents of New York. She is skilled in providing comprehensive care throughout the lifespan and specializes in child, adolescent psychopharmacology, autism spectrum disorder and adult psychopharmacology. Holli also has experience collaborating with primary care, therapy and community agencies for more holistic care. When providing treatment, Holli focuses on learning her patient’s individual stories to better meet them and their families where they are at. She then offers her professional guidance to help them reach their goals and live a fulfilling and enriching life.
Before she became a nurse practitioner of psychiatry, Holli worked for over 20 years as a certified family nurse practitioner in the medical setting, where she saw the need for quality mental health services. That and her personal experience caring for children with mental health disorders led her to start her career in psychiatry. Holli received her second graduate degree as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from Binghampton University. When she isn’t working, Holli likes to partake in spinning exercise classes and to spend time with her 6 children and family.
