Stephen’s interest in mental health care comes from having always worked with children; he started out as a pediatrician and practiced for several years. Stephen loves to listen to all kinds of music, especially classical and folk. He used to have a radio show in New York for medical consumers. Additionally, he is board certified in forensic psychiatry and writer on forensics and children for the Newsletter of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.

Diana Methfessel, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist offering services to adult residents in California. She has a vast array of clinical interests; however, her specializations are family therapy comprised of adult children and their parents, therapy for graduate students in master level or PhD/PsyD university programs, therapy with adult children of alcoholic/addictive parents, therapy with family members struggling with an addictive family member, hospice and end of live issues, grief work related to pets, and hoarding. In her practice, Diana believes that most people want to be heard and accepted for whatever they are going through at that moment. Once someone feels understood, they can then embrace hope to consider walking through the dark places in their lives.
Since she was young, Diana has been interested in mental health care and how people think and behave. Her sense of curiosity allows her to “lean in” and imagine what it is like to walk in the shoes of individuals she is working with.
After 50 years in her home state of California, Diana decided to move across the country to Florida. She is dedicated to wellness practice, including yoga and mindfulness meditation, and is passionate about animals and preserving our beautiful world.

Grant Clarke, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to adolescent and adult residents in California. He has a vast array of clinical interests; however, his specializations are cognitive behavioral therapy, relationships, stress management, mood disorders and addiction. In his practice, Grant uses mindful therapeutic strategies with an approach that is integrative, primarily utilizing CBT-based and strength-based interventions. He seeks a collaborative therapeutic approach with clients to facilitate emotional and mental well-being, balance, growth, and internal stability.
Grant’s interest in mental health care began when he received psychotherapy help in his early 30’s which ultimately, changed his life for the better. Grant wants to help others in the same way he was helped in his life.
Grant completed his education in his early 30’s, while being mindful not to be an absent husband or father. He played college football and top level rugby, and now plays golf. Additionally, Grant actively participates in various 12 step meetings and has been for the past 32 years.
